Having a mock up was important for us because it is extremely hard to explain the logic before we have working model. While it did show the idea behind how the device would work, the motor simply was not strong enough to produce any decent results. We learn that we  would need more powerful motor for the final product that we expected. So we are taking it into consideration. RESEARCH We conducted extensive research on projectors, LED displays and LCDs. Although all the mothods have their pros and cons, we found out that refresh rate was the most important decision factor. Because the preconception we had for a necessary refresh rate was actually about 10 times smaller than what we actually need. In light of this, we began researching faster projectors and started moving towards looking at LED displays and LCDs that have a higher refresh rate 120-480hz  ) because they are much more economic even faster than projectors.  According to the market research so far, these are  viable options for the Projectograph. It is expected to take 4  weeks for design finalization and 1 week for him to build from the experience working with Ben last semester.  The form factor will have lower level and upper level. The upper level is where the display is spinning and forming volumes. Computers and other small components will also be in the upper level to be connected with the display. To keep it safe, gantries will support the display from top and bottom. The lower level is for motors and  gears. We are going to minimize the motor's spinning speed using gears with diff erent sizes.  The slip ring and spinning pole connected to the second gear is going to penetrate both levels. For transportation’s sake, it will have wheels at the bottom of the lower level. TEAM S.C.I.F.I. STARTED DESIGNING AND PROGRAMMING FOR THE THREE DELIVERABLES.
