After School Care club Staff - Grade B (scp 13) 14hours p/w Mon-Thur 3.15-5.45pm / Fri - 1.45-5.45pm / Permanent 38 weeks per year

The Governors of the West Dartmoor Federation are looking to recruit afriendly, welcoming and efficient administrative assistant to join the office teamwithin our Federated schools.

West Dartmoor Federation comprises two rural Church of England PrimarySchools; Meavy and Lady Modiford’s, in the small Devon villages of Meavy andWalkhampton, just a few miles north of Plymouth. We are looking to appointsomeone who is willing to work across both schools in the Federation, whichare approximately 2 miles apart. The exact working pattern is yet to bedetermined; there may be a degree of flexibility for the right candidate.

The post is Grade C (£8.05 - £9.00 per hour), 37 hours per week, 39 weeks perannum, permanent.

The successful candidate will:

Have a willingness to embrace cross-federation working to ensurecohesive administration support for both schools.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Be able to use their own initiative as well as prioritise to ensuredeadlines are met.Be able to work well as part of a team and enjoy working with children.Be polite, cheerful and diplomatic as well as be able to deal with allmatters in a confidential and professional manner.Be organised, flexible and able to work calmly under pressure.Have good administrative and IT skills, including recent and relevantexperience of Microsoft Office, Excel and database packages.
