Pre-Fab divisionThe concept of prefab material is rapidlycatching up in our country. Riding the wavefrom the forefront, EPP has a full fledgedivision for the same. This division is engagedin manufacturing prefabricated housingsystems in Fibre glass and various othermaterials. EPP is supplying Pre-fab cabins,Security cabins and telecom shelters to manycorporates in India. EPP has created completevillage consisting of 550 fibre glass pre-fabricated house at Bhavpur, in record time of60 days after 2001 earthquake in Gujarat.This was the first time in India where wholevillage was built from fibre glass.

Pultrusion divisionEPP is renowned for manufacturing FRPGratings (moulded as well as Pultruded), FRPCable Trays, FRP Profiles, FRP Ladders &Staircase with Hand Railings, etc. EPPPultruded Products are Corrosion & WeatherResistant, Light Weight & Durable, incurs LowCost Installation, Maintenance Free as well asSturdy & Structurally Stable.

Cooling tower divisionManufactures customized cooling towers ona turnkey basis. EPP offers induced counterflow, natural draft, spray tower type coolingtowers. Cooling tower is used in Airconditioning and Refrigeration, Compressors,D.G, sets, Power plants, Plastic processingand Induction furnaces.

Extremely High Corrosion Resistance : FRP Composites exhibitexcellent resistance against severely corrosive fluids even atelevated temperatures. A properly designed laminate constructioncoupled with careful selection of the Matrix System can ensureeven 50 years plus life cycle of a FRP Composite Product whichprobably no other conventional material of construction can offer.

High Strength to Weight ratio : FRP Composites have excellentstrength to weight properties. A suitably designed Compositeproduct can surpass the Tensile Strength of Carbon Steel,Aluminium and even Stainless Steel. Usage of light weight FRPSucker Rods on beam pumping units are a classic example of thisphenomenon.

Creating uniqueness... High Impact Strength : FRP Composites exhibit very high impactstrength. Careful orientation of reinforcements have enabled thedesigners to produce ballistic body armors and safety helmets.Lightweight of the Composite material is an additional bonus forsuch applications.

Dimensional Stability : With FRP Composite it is possible tomaintain critical dimensional tolerances in most demandingstructural applications. Close to very close tolerances can beachieved with properly designed tooling, selection of rightmanufacturing process and selection of correct reinforcement aswell as matrix system. Hulls of FRP Mine Hunter and Frigate areclassic examples.

Excellent Electrical Resistance : Composite is a very low conductorof electricity and has a high dielectric strength too. Compositeinsulators on power lines have thus successfully replaced porcelain(all-glass) / ceramic insulators.

Creating uniqueness... Parts Consolidation : Due to design flexibility it is possible toconsolidate number of parts in one single component andthereby replace assembly of several components. AutomotiveIndustry have made good use of this opportunity and reducednumber of parts in some doors, hoods and lift gates.

Lower Tooling Cost : Availability of various manufacturingprocesses makes it possible to produce Composite products indesired volumes using various types of production runs i.e. small,medium or large. Consequently depending on the type ofproduction run required less expensive to high cost Tooling aremade. Thus cost saving in tooling can be achieved for small onetime production runs instead of investing in high cost toolingrequired for metal forming irrespective of single or regularproduction runs and volume.

Here EPP is planning to setup all major composite manufacturing processes likecontinuous Filament Winding, Pultrusion, SMC, DMC,Vacuum infusion, RTM, Spray up at this integratedcomposite complex. To come up with new innovations tohelp mankind EPP is planning to open a compositeinstitute and Research & Development centre. As well asindependent approved testing lab for composites.
