Founded in 1986 by the local Guilisasti family, Emiliana Vineyards is dedicated to producing wines crafted from organic grapes. The use of chemicals is shunned, in favour of natural alternatives. Compost is sourced from used grape skins and stems. They also have hens, geese and alpacas roaming the vineyards. The whole team at Emiliana firmly believe that by working with sustainable, organic, and biodynamic agricultural practices, it is possible to obtain better-balanced, healthier, and more productive vineyards, which results in better quality grapes. Emiliana was also certified Carbon Neutral for the first time in 2008, after employing methods such as reducing their packaging, investing in solar panels and running their tractors on biodiesel. They are the largest single source organic wine producer in the world.

The Botanist Gin (Tonic Included) (2019) 46% ABV An exciting and unusual gin from Islay whisky distillery Bruichladdich, The Botanist is made in a Lomond still christened Ugly Betty and contains no fewer than 31 botanicals, of which 22 are native to the Southern Hebridean island itself. The latter include the likes of mugwort, meadowsweet and the enigmatic Lady's Bedstraw flowers, and the resultant dry gin is described, perhaps unsurprisingly, as 'floral'.
