Transcript of The RIGHTS and DUTIES of a Human Person
All human beings have been endowed with the six natural rights. Nevertheless, they are also given a
corresponding duty to each of these rights
“in times of extreme necessity, the goods of the world belong to everyone”
We have the duty to keep healthy and take care of ourselves.
The human person has the right to own some property in order to live well.
This duty also includes the duty to assist those who do not have anything in order to sustain
their life.
Juan
What can I give?
Marriage is a right; not a duty. So no one is held liable to submit himself/herself to
marriage without the consent of the person involved.
This includes the duty to bring up the children properly and to support the family in order to
obtain a respectable living.
Every person has the moral power to move around freely or to go to places where he/she
wants to go.
This duty forbids everyone to enter the premises of other persons without the
consent of others.
No person will have the right to impose religion on the other.
We should respect other person’s religion no matter how absurd and how alien his/her
manner of worship be.
A person must have a right to work and to obtain a just compensation for his work.
It is the duty of the workers to render an honest day’s work
