Hello Richardson Families,  Wishing you and your family a safe and relaxing winter break and a Happy New Year!    Students do not have school Monday, December 23rd through Wednesday, January 1st. Classes will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2020!   All are welcome to Richardson’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Community Open House which will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, 4:30 pm-6:00 pm. We hope to see you all there!  

  

PENGUIN PRIDE GROWING STRONG  

This month, the entire school is working on showing                 how what it means to be responsible. Please talk to                   your child(ren) about what it means and what it                 looks like for them to be responsible for their things,                   and in their space taking care of our beautiful new                   building. This month we want to celebrate how               Richardson is a school full of responsible students! 

  

Winter Concert  

Our 1st-grade and 4th-grade students put on such an awesome performance last week! It’s so fun to see families coming together to celebrate the students while they shine! Thank you to everyone who attended.

PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT REMINDERS 

 SCHOOL START TIME All students need to be in the building before 9:10 am to avoid being marked tardy. Classes begin promptly at 9:15 am.    DROP OFF TIME The building opens at 8:50 am for our students. Please do not drop your child off before this time as we do not have supervision for them.    PICK UP TIME Students should be picked up by 3:45 pm. We do not have supervision for them after this time.  DROP OFF/PICK UP DOORS  Parent drop off and pick up doors are on the East side of the building on 1st Street North.    Students should be dropped off between 8:50 am - 9:10 am. The doors lock at 9:10 am. If you arrive after 9:10 am you will need to bring your child to the front doors on 17th Avenue and sign them in.  Students will be dismissed from the East side of the building for parent pick up at 3:45 pm. All parents should pick up on this side of the building.  BREAKFAST Students who need to eat breakfast at school should be in school no later than 9:00 am. This will allow them time to eat and make it to class on time.  END OF THE DAY CHANGES If you need to change how your child is going home please call before 3:00 pm .
