The size and intimacy of the smaller ships allow us to “run into” friends and acquaintances more often –

we ARE family – and we spend more time with Oceania’s crew, officers and friends on board

than we do with friends and family back home. The Regatta-Class ships truly provide us with the feeling of

home, complete with a genuine social life, friends and family, with places to go and things to do together.

The Regatta-Class ships are smaller in size with a smaller in number guest list, yet are just as spacious and

elegantly appointed with the same amenities and loving Staff and Crew as the larger vessels in our

Oceania Cruises fleet. I have always found the guest list on board to be made up of interesting, charming,

friendly people with a variety of backgrounds. With a smaller number of guests, we meet and

recognize each other more quickly, and eagerly share our experiences on the

ship’s shore excursions, dining experiences and other activities with great ease.

The ships have always felt like my home.
