The vulcanized elastic parts with high performance rubber are integrated in the coupling. The shearing loads are very strong! In the most cases works four or six rubber parts work inside the coupling. The rubber parts draw gear compensates tensile and compressive loads and can be individually adapted to its purpose. The rubber parts allow cardanic moves and cushion minor impacts. The draw gear articulation establishes the connection between two car bodies.

Conical springs are used as a standard suspension and damping element in international bogie technique. They are installed usually in sets of 4 per bogie axle. Chevron springs are widely used for axle box primary suspensions of light rail, passenger and freight vehicles as well as locomotives. They are installed in pairs in a V-shaped configuration to provide compliance in the vertical, lateral and longitudinal directions. They are simple in design and provide good service life and low maintenance. Axle/Chevron are optimally suited for primary spring modules with a large degree of variation in vertical and horizontal stiffness. They often eliminate the need for other dampers.

Our lateral bumpers limit travel and transmit force between the bogie and the superstructure. The buffer acts as a shock absorber between two moving parts. In operation, the buffer normally is unloaded, coming into contact only under certain circumstances which depend on the design and the application. Lateral buffers that limit the lateral movement of the car body in order to ensure necessary clearances. Vertical bump stops limiting the deflection inside a conical spring or a coil spring.
