The topics range from more commonly encountered to more obscure entities. As a result of attending this symposium, participants should be able to: Recognize common and not-so-common conditions that are specific to the pediatric emergency department and be able to recommend the appropriate next imaging step Identify the most common pediatric chest emergencies Review the normal imaging appearance, traumatic and atraumatic pathology specific to the pediatric population Describe the normal appearance of the pediatric brain as it matures, how different pathological conditions can affect normal development and how to feel more confident when diagnosing congenital brain malformation. FROM GARDEN STATE PARkWAY: TRAvELING SOuTH: Take Exit 130 to Route 1 North. Continue ½ mile, the Renaissance is on the left. Make a u-turn at the traffic light. TRAvELING NORTH: Take Exit 131A (Wood Avenue), at the fourth traffic light, make a right (Middlesex-Essex Turnpike), at the third traffic light, make a right on Gill Lane. The Renaissance is located 1½ miles on the right.

FROM THE NEW JERSEY TURNPIkE: Take Exit 11 off NJTP to Garden State Parkway North to Exit 131A (Wood Avenue), at the fourth traffic light, make a right (Middlesex-Essex Turnpike), at the third traffic light, make a right on Gill Lane. The Renaissance is located 1½ miles on the right.

FROM ROUTE 287 NORTH OR SOUTH: Take Exit for Route 1 North. Continue until you see the Renaissance on the left side of Route 1. Go straight through the traffic light and take the Gill Lane jug handle in the right lane. Take a left turn at the intersection of Route 1 and Gill Lane and make a right turn into the Renaissance’s main entrance.

FROM NYC: Take either the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel to the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 11. Take Garden State Parkway North, to Exit 131A — Wood Avenue. At the fourth traffic light, make a right onto Middlesex Essex Turnpike. At the third traffic light, take a right onto Gill Lane. The Renaissance is located 1½ miles up Gill Lane on the right hand side.

FROM STATEN ISLAND: Take the Outer Bridge Crossing to Route 440. This will eventually turn into Route 287. Take Exit 1A for Route 1 North. Continue until you see the Renaissance on the left. Make a u-turn at the traffic light.

FROM NEWARk AIRPORT: Take Route 1 and 9 South towards Woodbridge. Follow Route 1 South to the Renaissance on the right hand side — approximately 12 miles.
