So to that [religion of Allah] invite, [O Muhammad], and remain on a right course as you are commanded and do not follow their
inclinations but say, "I have believed in what Allah has revealed of the Qur'an, and I have been commanded to do justice among
you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord. For us are our deeds, and for you your deeds. There is no [need for] argument between us
and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is the [final] destination.
Why is it necessary to have a goal? How does it benefit us?
Answer:
Everybody’s broader goal should be to go to Jannah. We cannot get Jannah purely because of our deeds; rather we can only get it through Allah’s mercy. And how do we can get Allah’s mercy? We can get it through our sincere deeds.
Q1. Write down a wish of yours...which you really really wish to come true in this world.

Action plans:
Q2. Can you answer the following questions? be honest...
How motivated am I?
What will I need to do to achieve my goals?
Why have I not started? Afraid of the challenge? Still holding on to my fears?
Is it going to be action or excuses?
Make a choice! Become motivated!
An action plan is a list of all the
tasks that you need to carry out
in order to achieve your main
objective.
Think of a plan for your vacation.
How will you plan it? Where will you go? What will you
take along your journey? Who will you go with?
Do you:
Read the Sunnah’s of Salah? Yes/ No
Try to do as many Sunnah’s as possible in a day and are conscious to do something in the way
prophet did. Yes/ No
Now let’s make these Sunnah Goals!
How many Sunnah’s are there in a day? _____. Reading Sunnah’s before and after Fard.

So where Am I going?
To know where we are heading towards, we need to sit back and think what is happening inside of us.
Who we are? How true we are to ourselves and towards Allah? This is called Self Reflection: serious
thought about one's character and actions.
Umar (RA) also said 'Judge yourself before you are judged, evaluate yourself before you are evaluated and be ready for the greatest investigation.’
This activity will help you make goals in your life and for the hereafter.
Exercise on Reflection – How important is reflecting on yourself? Write down how you want to build
up on your strengths.
Action plan
Self-Reflection
Definition: Serious thought about one's
character and actions.
How truthful we are?
TIME IS TICKING FASTER THAN YOU THINK
By time, indeed, mankind is in loss, except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and
advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.
We can’t afford to waste time as we will be
held accountable for every moment that we
spent in our life. We need to start thinking
of how to utilize our time and get useful
results.
Time Management
Tip #1: Work in small chunks
Tip #2: Discipline is Key!
Tip #3: Eliminate Time Wasters!
Common time wasters to look out for include:
1. Wasting too much time on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or browsing non-beneficial websites
2. Talking on the phone for hours (this can also lead to sins like backbiting)
3. Television and Video Games 4. Oversleeping
(discussion on how much time we spend on Facebook, phone etc.)
“Successful are the believers…those who stay away from lughw (things which waste time)” (Surah Mu'minoon 23:1 & 3)
Tip #4: Make a schedule
Tip #5: Plan your day around Ṣalāh
Tip #6: Learn to say No!
Tip #7: Beneficial Hobbies

Prophet Muhammad (صىل هللا عليه و سلم) said: "The two feet of the son of Adam will not move
from near his Lord on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about five matters:
• about his life, how he spent it
• about his youth, how he took care of it;
• about his wealth, how he earned it;
• and how he spent it; and
• about that which he acted upon from the knowledge that he acquired.”’ (Hadith reported
by at-Tirmidhi)
Time has 2 characteristics which makes it the most valuable thing a human has:
1. It passes quickly
2. Once time has passed, it cannot be returned, nor can it be compensated for.

The tasks that are most difficult and time-consuming should be done at a time when you have the most energy, as you will be most productive at that time. And that time is the time after Fajr because of the hadith: It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص) said: "O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings." Therefore make the most use of this time.

Activity Grid
An activity grid is where you will write down everything you do on a daily basis. It will be like a schedule book, except you will write down all of the daily activities that took place; by doing this for a week you will start noticing patterns of things that take place daily in your life that you had never thought about before. Sometimes you are aware of it, but now you will be forced to recognize and change your habits in order to accomplish more, insha’Allah.

Quadrant III is for time pressured distractions. They
are not really important, but someone wants it
now.
