Community Supported Agriculture
CSA is a socio-economic model of agriculture
and food distribution which consists of a
community of individuals who pledge support
to a farm operation where the growers and
consumers share the risks and benefits of food
production.
Reasons For Eating Local Seasonal Food
• It is better for you! (And it tastes better too.)
• Its better for the environment.
• To avoid paying a premium for food that is scarcer or has travelled a long way.
• To promote and support the local economy.
• To reconnect with natures cycles and the passing of time.
