Saloons
Al Andalus is probably the most spacious and exclusive tourist train in the world. Its four saloons, real railway jewels built between 1928 and 1930, are the perfect scenario in which the breakfast à la carte and selected dinners and three course meals designed by our renowned chef, Ramón Celorio, are served. Travelling in Al Andalus is also travelling around the rich Spanish cuisine, with its countless dishes that are rooted in the culinary traditions of the people that have shaped its history.
Bar service allows the traveler to enjoy at any time of an espresso, a sherry or a Tom Collins, relax in the elegant saloons, while the landscape is running through the large windows, or in the privacy of your comfortable room. At the end of the day it is time to enjoy the parties, music, cultural and gastronomic activities or live performances that are offered every day on board.
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing and shoes for the day, while we are making our visits. At night, and especially in the gala dinner, you can choose a more formal attire, although it is not required to wear a formal dress at any time.
In the saloons of Al Andalus resonate even the echoes of a waltz, perhaps until a foxtrot notes, played on piano in the golden age of Art Decó. The past has left its noble traces of glamour and aroma vintage in every detail of the train, in the hatters that speak of other times and fashions, walls decorated with fine marquetry on maho-gany wood.
Al Andalus is a palace on rails. Its rooms chugged long ago by routes that cross France from Calais to the French Riviera, with the members of the British monarchy as illustrious passengers. That palace of the 1920s is now a first class accommodation, which combines the signs of a prestigious history with the modern comforts of the 21st century.
For a few days you will be staying in a real
palace in movement to chat or take a coffee
in its sumptuous saloons or relax in your
comfortable room. A collection of experiences
and unforgettable memories await you in
every corner of the train.

The RoutesAl Andalus offers routes with different durations covering a large part of Spain, from a minimum of 3 days up to a
maximum of 6. Each trip of Al Andalus combines an exquisite cuisine on board with first class restaurants. The pleasure of the trip is also based on a careful balance between train journey times and suggestive visits and excursions with guides in different languages and private access to the monuments. While the train stays in the station, the traveler may choose to scheduled trips or explore on your own the town in which we are. You could also prefer to enjoy to be on close terms in your room on board or the planned activities.
