Lions Club Announces 33rd Annual Truck Raffle Blairstown Offers Auto Shop Expertise By Doreen Rutherford The Auto Shop, located on Rt. 94 in Blairstown, across from the North Warren Ball field, has been in the auto repair business since 1982. Next year, they will be celebrating their 30th Anniversary. The owners, Don and Brian Bodeman, run a tight operation with nine auto repair bays, a seperate van bay build- ing and five full time mechanics. The Auto Shop is capable of working on all makes and models, from lawnmowers, tractors, campers, RV's, vans and small buses to exotics and classics. The Auto Shop became a Napa Auto Care center 10 years ago, and has expertise in front end alignments. When I asked Don what made him inter- ested in auto repair he said, "When I was a senior in high school, a wise counselor sugg- ested I deviate from the pack and not go to college, but rather pursue a career doing something I really enjoyed.” Don graduated from Lincoln Tech, while Brian went to Morris- ville State College in New York. Both are ASE certified master technicians. We are happy to have The Auto Shop in our community, so stop in and say “Hi.” By Doreen Rutherford Asian Combat Arts students competed in The Annual Central Jersey Karate Children’s Tournament on April 30th.
