    The Facilitators

    Ms Magdalene Chia, FCCA, MSc in Finance is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance. She started her accountancy career with a practicing firm in Singapore. In 2003, Magdalene made a career change and decided to venture into academic world teaching for couple of big institutions. Magdalene lectures in Auditing and Governance, Risk & Ethics. She also has attended several Train the Trainer seminars organized by ACCA Malaysia.

    Mr Laurence Kuek, MBA, AAT, MCSE started his career in the retail catering operations for a UK FTSE 100 company responsible for budgeting, controls, training and IT prior to entering the lecturing profession. Laurence has since then continued his teaching career with a long established college in East Malaysia. With years of experience in the higher education industry, he has gained extensive exposures in teaching Business Strategy, Cost and Management Accounting subjects for various external examination programmes including the ACCA, CAT, ICSA, ABE and LCCI.

    Note: Both Ms Magdalene and Mr Laurence had attended ACCA's SBL workshop in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. They had sat for the Mock SBL exam organised by ACCA UK. They continuous attending ACCA SBL webinars (attended not less than 10 webinars and seminars). They were equipped presentation skills and knowledge to guide you through SBL exam.

    Mr Haneef, M Bus, AIA holds a Master qualification from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He is an affiliated member of the Association of International Accountants. He also holds a Royal Society of Arts qualification majoring in Accounting. Haneef, the Guru began his academic career in 1986 as a lecturer in financial accounting related subjects. His lecturing expertise in international accounting standards has successfully prepared students for the professional examinations of the ACCA, CIMA & ICSA and degree program. Ms Wong Paik Wan, FCCA is a qualified chartered accountant. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. Paik Wan has more than 10 years of practical experience in the audit & assurance services and commercial sector, and is exposed in the fields of financial accounting, financial management, secretarial practices and taxations as well as other areas of management including human resources.

    Mr Andrew Tan, FCCA, CPA(M), CA(M), MEd is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants and a member of the Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Master Degree in Education from a local university. Andrew Tan has been teaching ACCA taxation and auditing papers for almost 10 years now. He has produced many Malaysia prize winners award with track records of high passing rate.

    Mr Yoong Mun Yen, FCCA, ICSA has been teaching for more than 25 years in delivering lectures, coaching and mentoring skills on Advanced Financial Management, Corporate and Business Finance subjects for various professional bodies including ACCA, CIMA and ICSA. Besides classroom work he provides consultancy, training and mentoring skills on business appraisal and implementation for companies in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. By empowering his unique studying approach for professional exams over the past 25 years. He has also produced World and Malaysia Prizewinners. He is committed towards students success and provide support after classes.
