Hwy 101 Clean - up. OUUF does litter removal from our section of Hwy 101 three times a year. Saturday, March 9th, is the day. We meet at 9:30 on River Road just south of the highway. Walt Johnson at 1walterjohnson2@gmailcom or 360-477-7775.
Recently an OUUF member found that QFC was offering free cholesterol checks but it was not well publicized. While this check was for a limited time, many other local pharmacies offer wellness checks as well as other screenings and inoculations
during the year. If you know of a pharmacy offering these services, let us know and the information can be posted on the community bulletin board at the Fellowship. Contact: Elinor Tennyson at mailto:[email protected]
The Tim Tebow Foundation in conjunction with Clallam Mosaic, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering those in our area with Special Needs is sponsoring "A Night to Shine" at the Roosevelt Elementary School (106 Monroe Ave.) in Port Angeles on Saturday, March 23rd from 3-6PM. The purpose is to recognize those with different abilities with the activities of dinner,
dance, and entertainment. It is a gala evening with our friends and neighbors treated to a Prom Night atmosphere with the assistance of volunteers who make this happen. To volunteer to be of service, please call Clallam Mosaic at 360-681-8642, or email: mailto:[email protected].

RESCHEDULED: On Sunday, April 14th, at 4pm, Joel Yelland, baritone, will present "A Celebration of Russian Song", a recital of songs in Russian with English supertitles, accompanied by Linda Dowdell, piano. The first half will be classical opera arias and art songs, and the second half will be folk music. For the second half, Joel and Linda will be joined by Claire Martin on violin and Maryann Tapiro on cello. The concert will take place at Olympic UU Fellowship, 1033 N Barr Road between PA and Sequim. A reception with Russian food will follow the
performance.

REMINDER: It is very important and necessary to lock the building if you are the last to leave. This past Monday morning the building was found to have been left unsecured and it is assumed the last person to leave Sunday didn't lock up.
