In Tanzania the programme is run under the Institute of Social Work ISW since Paschal Joseph Maziku, author of this paper was a student, is a mentor and employer of other graduates of the certificate programme to work for Maternal Life Tanzania own NGO. THE POWER OF THE CBWCY CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME TO MY LIFE 1.The CBWCY has not yet been effectively advertised 2.Lack of commitment to one and or both mentor and a student may lead to poor performance 3.Motivation to both students and mentors is crucial for their successful performance 4.On applying the skills gained from the CBWCY course, some additional skills were borrowed from other course.
