ThefirewallmustadditionallybeopentoalloweachPinnacle3applicationserverandworkstationtoinitiateconnectionstopushdataintorecordandverifysystemsandothertreatmentplanningsystems.TheDICOMprotocoloperatesonTCPport104bydefault,althoughthismayvarydependingontheconfigurationofthecustomer-ownedtargetsystem.

AllportspertainingtoNIS/YPandNFSarerequirediffirewallsexistbetweentheProfessionalserverandanyattachedclients.

TCP/UDP111,TCP/UDP4045,TCP/UDP2049,andstatefulRPCpacketinspectionwhichcanmonitorclientrequestsforNFSv3andNISports,dynamicallyopeningtheassociatedrandomports.

ThefirewallmustalloweachPinnacle3applicationserverandeachPinnacle3workstationtoinitiateconnectionstoallprinters.

Theportsusedforprintingwilldependontheprotocolusedtoaccessthecustomer-ownedprinters.

Enterprisebackup ThefirewallmustallowPinnacle3Professionalserver(andvirtualIPaddress)tocommunicatewiththecustomer’senterprisebackupsystem.Therequiredportsaredependentontheenterprisebackupsystemdeployed.

Datatransferatinstallation

ForexistingcustomerswithdatatobemigratedfromaworkstationserverontotheProfessionalserver,thefirewallwillneedtobeopenedbetweentheProfessionalserver(individualnodesandvirtualIP)andthecustomer’sexistingserver.Thisrequirementistemporary,unlessthecustomerwillbekeepingtheworkstationandconvertingitintoaclienttothenewlyinstalledsystem.

Remotesupport Forfasterproblemresolution,asignificantnumberofsupportcallscanberesolvedremotelyviathePhilipsRemoteServices(PRS).ThisisaVPN-basedconnectionaccomplishedwitheitheraPhilips-providedrouter,oraconfigurationtoanexistingcustomer-managedVPNconcentrator.ThefollowingsystemsandportsmustbeauthorizedforPhilipstoprovideremotesupport:
