• Developed by OVHA in partnership with others• Biomass waste wood fired energy centre• 5.2 Megawatts system• Site at Jamphlars, on western outskirts of Cardenden• Heat and hot water to 2000+homes and other buildings• Major engineering project• Value circa £35 million • Aim is to commence work early 2015 and will take 18

months• Cardenden will become a building site!• Still some hurdles to overcome – network, funding etc• Community Engagement ongoing
