Georgia is in the Southeastern part of the US, on the continent of North America.

The central part of Georgia iscalled the Piedmont Region.

The Piedmont Region is home to many people than any other part of the state.

The average temperature in the Piedmont region is 60 degrees.

The average rainfall in the Piedmont Region variesfrom 45 inches to 75 inches.
