I would be happy to schedule an appointment with you to discuss your future plans. At the present time, neither function space nor guest rooms are being held. Cost for a ceremony on the beach begins at $750, which includes a back-up room and chair set-up.

Wedding ceremonies must be accompanied by a Wedding Dinner Reception.
FOOD & BEVERAGE MINIMUMS
Sheraton Sand Key Resort requires a minimum food and beverage expenditure to guarantee the desired space for your wedding reception. Minimums are calculated prior to taxes and service charges. If a food and beverage minimum is not met, a room rental charge will be assessed. The following Food and Beverage Minimums Apply:
-Up to 50 persons: $5,000 F&B Minimum -Up to 100 persons: $10,000 F&B Minimum -Up to 150 persons: $15,000 F&B Minimum -Over 150 persons: Please contact a Catering Manager
The maximum Sheraton Sand Key is equipped to accommodate for a reception dinner is 350 persons.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A customized payment schedule will be developed dependant on the estimated guest count and time of booking. Sheraton Sand Key Resort requires a $1,000 deposit in order to secure function space. Fifty percent (50%) of the estimated total of your purchase balance will be due 30 days prior to the function with a paid in full balance due no later than one week prior. A minimum guest guarantee will be due at this time as well.
CANCELLATION
In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will be incurred dependant upon function date:
9+ months prior to event: $1,000 nonrefundable deposit.
6 – 9 months prior to event: 25% of estimated total.
3 – 6 months prior to event: 50% of estimated total.
1 – 3 months prior to event: 75% of estimated total.

Wedding Guidelines Cont.DECORATIONS
All decorations to be used in your wedding reception must be approved by your catering manager. Confetti and/or glitter of any kind is not permitted. It is the responsibility of the client or family to setup and tear down all decorations. You will be notified of the time prior to your function that the event space can be decorated. In the event of an outside vendor being used at your function, the Resort must be notified and proper insurance obtained prior to event.
ELECTRICAL CHARGES
Special events often require special electrical needs. These can be arranged through your Catering Manager. Charges will be based upon materials, labor and power drain. Special electrical requirements must be specified no later than one week prior to your function date.
AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPTMENT
Sheraton Sand Key Resort is equipped with full audiovisual services available for rent. Our services include: video data equipment, display accessories, screens, speaker support, microphones, mixers & speakers, light kits and other miscellaneous items. Please refer to the A/V menu for a full list of equipment. In order to ensure the availability of equipment, please notify your Catering Manager as soon as possible. Cancellations of equipment must be received not later than 48 hours prior to your function date to avoid
penalty charges. Audiovisual technicians are available by advance notice at a rate of $50/hr. Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm. All other times are billed at $65/hr. All audiovisual charges are daily and subject to a 20% service fee and 7% tax. Use of audiovisual equipment not provided by the resort is strictly prohibited. Below are the most common audiovisual items for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

BEVERAGE SERVICE
Under Florida State Law and in accordance with Sheraton Sand Key Resort’s alcoholic beverage license, all alcohol beverages are required to be supplied and served exclusively by resort servers, bartenders and staff. Florida State Law prohibits anyone from bringing any liquor, beer or wine onto the Resort’s property. The Resort holds the right to (1) request proper identification of any person of questionable age (2) refuse alcoholic beverage service if the person is not of proper age or cannot produce proper identification, (3) refuse alcoholic beverage service to any person who, in the Resort’s judgment, appears intoxicated.
FOOD
Sheraton Sand Key Resort must be the sole provider and preparer of all food items at your wedding reception. The Resort reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions to the menu to accommodate increased market prices or commodity shortages. Resort policy does not allow any removal of food and beverage from the property during or after the conclusion of a catered function.
FUNCTION ROOMS
Function rooms are assigned based on the guaranteed number of attendees and are only available during the hours indicated in your confirmation. Final confirmation of rooms can be made at the time of minimum attendee
guarantee. All rooms are subject to change. Any group that requires a room setup that deviates from the agreed upon event order will incur a $200 re-setup fee.
GUARANTEES
It is required that your Catering Manager or the Catering Office is informed of the minimum number of guests no later than 9:00am, seven (7) business days prior to your wedding function. The minimum number of guests is considered a guarantee and cannot be lowered for any reason. The minimum guarantee is the number of guests your invoice will be based on, even in the event that fewer guests attend. An increase in the guaranteed attendance must be given no later than fortyeight (48) hours prior to function date (72 hours on weekends). The resort will prepare for attendance up to 5% over the final guarantee number. If no guarantee is received by the Catering Department, the resort will consider the last indicated number of attendees as the guarantee.
SECURITY
Sheraton Sand Key Resort does not assume responsibility for damaged, lost or stolen merchandise left in the Resort prior to, following, or during your function. Arrangements may be made for the security of exhibits, merchandise or display articles prior to the function date.
POOLSIDE/BEACH WEDDINGS
Tents 30’ x 45’ are available for beach functions. Tents will accommodate approximately 80 people at rounds of 8. Rental Charges are $600.00 per tent, per function. Selections, which are not on Poolside/Beach Menus, will be $3.00 per person extra. Music is not allowed by local ordinance after 10 pm
