• Schools divided into 15 Regions– Roughly geographic– Michigan competes in Region 8– Schools of science/math compete in own region
• Within each region – 2 divisions– Division 1 - 1st year physics (first time students
take physics)– Division 2 - 2nd year physics (taken 2nd, 3rd, …
course in physics)

Division 1 students - #1 - #40 Division 2 students - #11 - #50 Questions become progressively more difficult
45 minute time limit Equation sheet provided Multiple Choice - Machine scored Questions cover all areas of physics
Good review for AP/IB/ other exams

Top two highest scoring students (only correct answers count) win prizes in each region & division
