I have ordered things from Amazon in the

past, but decided to become an Amazon Prime member right before Christmas due to my problem of procrastinating about Christmas shopping. I have to say it has been wonderful! The yearly membership is $99.00 and includes free 2 day shipping, free movies and TV shows, free music, and free lending of kindle books. Recently I needed a gift for a retirement party, was able to get some great ideas and it was on my doorstep in 2 days. What a time saver! :)

I hope everybody had a great first month of 2016. I know we were very busy due to the cold temperatures we experienced in January.

Some of our technicians put in some very long hours this past month trying to get all of our customers’ heat or frozen water lines fixed. Seeing the hours everyone has put in over this past month got me thinking about our customers and their feelings when an EMERGENCY arises!

We train a great deal on the importance of understanding what each customer is going through. We try and coach our service technicians on the importance of viewing the problem in the same way the customer views this issue. You have called us to fix your problem and we want to do everything possible to help you in your time of need.

Fortunately for us, we have

been able to hire and train some of the best technicians around. I am sure you know what I am talking about if you have ever had one of them out to your house. These guys will go above and beyond for each and every customer!

It is my pledge to you as our customer that we will always employ the best technicians to serve our customers. We will also continually train them on what it takes to provide the best customer service experience possible. It is our goal for you to leave every interaction with our company saying, “That may have been the best customer service I have ever experienced!”

Undoubtedly, there will be times we come up short and fail to deliver this promise. If so, let us know. We want to get it corrected. We are so thankful for all of our customers and your continued loyalty. Have a blessed February and if you are in need of anything at all, please let us know.

Chocolate Strawber ry Pudding Pie

I n g r e d i e n t sFor Crust:• Nonstick vegetable oil spray• 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick)

unsalted butter• 1 ounce bittersweet (not

unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate chips

• 9 chocolate graham crackers• 1 pint strawberries, trimmed

and halved

For Fi l l ing:• 2/3 cup sugar• 1/4 cup cornstarch• 2 tablespoons unsweetened

cocoa powder• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger• 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg• Pinch of salt• 6 large egg yolks• 2 1/2 cups whole milk• 6 ounces bittersweet (not

unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate chips

• 1/2 tablespoon bourbon (I use Jim Beam)

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

I n s t r u c t i o n sFor Crust:1. Lightly spray a 9-inch

pie dish with nonstick spray. Place the butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, heat on high for 40 seconds or until just melted. Stir until

smooth. 2. Finely grind the graham

crackers. Add chocolate mixture and process until crumbs are evenly moistened. Press crumb mixture into prepared pie dish. Freeze until firm, about 30 minutes.

3. Arrange strawberry halves in a single layer in the bottom of the crust.

For Fi l l ing:1. For filling, whisk sugar,

cornstarch, cocoa powder, spices, and salt in heavy medium saucepan to combine. Whisk in egg yolks to form thick paste.

2. Gradually whisk in milk, then whisk over medium-high heat until mixture thickens & boils 1 minute.

3. Remove from heat. Add chocolate and whisk until smooth. Whisk in bourbon and vanilla.

4. Cool 5 minutes, whisking occasionally.

5. Pour filling over strawberries until level with the top edge of the crust.

6. Chill until set, at least 2 hours and up to 1 day. Top with fresh whipped cream and more strawberries, if desired.
