Our goal at Sandestin is to create a stress-free and momentous weekend for you, your family and guests. Your Special Events Manager can assist you in arranging everything from the rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception, to the farewell brunch hosting an intimate wedding of 50 guests to a grand event of 500 guests or more.

From the sugary, white sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, to the sparkling waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay, Sandestin offers the largest selection of venues in Northwest Florida, including indoor and outdoor locations.

• Once you have corresponded with our Special Events Manager and availability has been confirmed, we encourage a tour of the venues to pick your perfect location.

• After your approval, our team will create a Wedding Agreement, securing your date and location(s).

After the Wedding Agreement has been returned, your Special Event Manager will provide additional services to assist in your wedding planning, including:

• A list of recommended vendors such as wedding planners, florists, photographers, officiates, musicians and more.

• Design of ceremony and reception floor plan to include dining tables, dance floor, bars and any other table(s) that you may need. Tables and standard white linens are provided complimentary to Sandestin Brides, based on inventory availability.

• Customize wedding menus (see menu section) with the assistance of Sandestin’s award winning culinary staff.

• Discount group rates on accommodations.

Ceremony and Reception Venues

Planning Tips & Commonly Asked QuestionsWe are in hopes that the following information will be of assistance to you as you start planning for this special day. If all

questions are not answered, please contact your Special Events Manager for assistance.

CEREMONY & RECEPTION:• Sandestin does not provide an on-site wedding

coordinator. Obtaining a coordinator for ceremony and reception activities is highly recommended. Please refer to your preferred vendor list.

• Outside vendors, i.e. planners, florist, photographer, musicians, decorators must be approved by your Special Events Manager if they are not included on our preferred vendor list.

• Special decorating needs, i.e. specialty linens, chair covers, special order chairs, tents, etc. are not provided by Sandestin. Please refer to your preferred vendor list.

• Ceremony rehearsal – please contact your Special Events Manager two (2) weeks prior to your wedding to determine an available time for the ceremony rehearsal location, which is to be conducted by your day-of-coordinator.

FOOD & BEVERAGE:• Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will require that all food

& beverage be purchased and served through Sandestin (with the exception of the wedding cake). Your Special Events Manager will assist with your menu selections.

• Final food & beverage selections and venue setup details should be submitted no less than six (6) weeks prior to the wedding day to your Special Events Manager. The final guaranteed number is due one (1) week prior to the wedding day.

DEPOSITS & BILLING:• A deposit equal to your venue rental is due at the signing

of your contract/agreement.

• Ninety (90) days prior to the wedding, the food & beverage minimum outlined in the contract is due.

• The remaining, estimated pre-payment balance is due thirty (30) days prior to the wedding day. Any additions up to the date of the wedding will be immediately charged using the credit card provided on file. Within 5 business days after the wedding, a final bill will be forwarded to you detailing all charges included in the account, including any refunds.

ACCOMMODATIONS & MORE:• Check-in is at 4:00PM for all accommodations. Check-

out is at 11:00AM. It is recommended that guests do not request an early check-in time. If a room is required early in the day, reserving the room the previous evening would accommodate those requirements. Complimentary bridal/ready rooms are not provided.

• Your Guest Welcome Letter may be left at the Registration Desk forty-eight (48) hours prior to your guest’s arrival and will be included in the guests check-in packet. A rooming list with the registered guest name must be provided with the letter. Please arrange with your Special Events Manager if you would like to arrange this service.

• Amenity room deliveries are handled by our Guest Services Department. There is a $7.00 per room delivery charge. Please advise your Special Events Manager at least two (2) weeks prior to arrival if delivery service is required.

• Dedicated trams are available to transport your guests as a group. If this is needed, please discuss with your Special Events Manager for pricing.

• Guests staying off-property will be given a day pass at the Security Gate as they enter the Resort.

DON’T FORGET:• Salon & Day Spa arrangements are available on-property

for the bride & bridal party. While the ladies are being pampered, tee times may be arranged for the groom and groomsmen.

• Sandestin can also arrange for your Rehearsal Dinner and Farewell Breakfast/Brunch.
