The Problem
A problem that we have noticed is that a lot of people lose their pencils. When people lose pencils they won’t be prepared for class.
Here are some possibilities of solutions to our problem:
~A bag that holds your pencils~A rubber band that would hold your
pencil~A straw that you tape to your binder
and stick your pencil in {this is the one we chose}
Draw pictures and diagrams to show your invention and how it
might work.
My invention works by having a clamp attached to the notebook for a pencil. This way, you would not lose your pencils.
How To Create It1. Get a large straw, and cut it into
2 inch pieces. 2. Tape the cut up pieces of straw
onto your binder or notebook.3. Slide the pencil of your choice
into the straw.
Our Experiment: We asked 4 friends to
rate our invention People: Do you
think the product will work?
Do you think people will buy the product?
Will the product help you be prepared in class?
Would you buy our product?
Ashlyn Yes. Yes. Yes. Sure.
TQ Yes. Yes. Yes it will. Yep.
Joe Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Lizzie Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
One way we could tweak our product is to make the straw and tape last longer. If we keep it as it is it wouldn’t last very long.
The Pencil ClipperIf you frequently lose your pencils, you need The Pencil Clipper! The Pencil Clipper easily hooks onto your binder or notebook, so
you can slide your pencils into it. It would be a very smart decision to buy our product! Plus it’s only $5 at your local school
