Said Grolm the lion, “Let’s try something new.”

But where was Pufung, nowhere to be ound?

‘Til Jaco the rabbit, while racing around

Said, “Pufung can’t come, he’s stuck in a tree.

You say he’s a monkey, how can that be?

He’s in Dreadwood Forest, where no one should go.

Hunting bananas, not a moment ago.”

Grolm said with a roar.

Though earing the ore

They had to decide.

The donkey Mud said.

From long, long ago.”

Kashu the tiger and Newt the bear 

 Joined Grolm the lion, pointing here and there.

They said, “We the Patch

Are well equipped

To go on the adventure

 We’ve all been picked.”

“Where’s Finbar the pig?” said Ops the dog,

“The last we saw him was beore the og.”

They heard some squealing, they heard some oinks.Matti the reindeer, blurted out, “Zoinks!”

They ran towards the oinks and squeals

And there was Finbar, served up like a meal.

A Patch eating fower, with teeth sharp and big

 Was snapping at Finbar, the poor little pig.

Hugo the hippo, his weight in the tons,

Leaped on its stem, the fower was stunned.

It coughed and sputtered, gasping or air.

To eat Finbar, it would no longer dare.

The two o them now joined the rest ,The orest was dark, they saw inches at best.

But or Solo the cat, who spied

A monstrous tree, too tall and too wide.

The most terrible thing, though, wasn’t its height.

 With branches like arms moving with might.

Itching here and scratching there,

The tree was giggling, the Patch were scared.

“Make him stop,” h“Stop the monkey, I beg

Then Pufung they saw,

He was tickling the tree

“Stop, stop, stop! I can

Stop it now, or I’ll rattle

With a loud rumbl

Great cracks in the eart

The Patch they tumbled, down through the ground.

Down a deep crack, they made a loud sound,

“Eeeeeeeeeeee!” They ell one and all.

Landing in goo, that rolled into a ball.

Into a lake that steamed

The water rose at a r ightening pace. What a scary day, what more could they ace?

The water boiled, the Patch were cooked

In a big pot, at least, that’s how it looked.

The bubbling water pushed them higher,

 Jetting into a great , grand geyser.

Up and up and up they went,

Shooting out a hot, steamy vent.

In Patch Garden they landed with a thud.

“A singularly horrible experience,” said Mud.

They nodded agreement, too tired to say.

But all were thankul Pufung was okay.
