Like a good father, God saw that his children needed help. He decided to offer his beloved children a special

gift to reveal his love. What did God give us? Not a thing, but a person—the Father's beloved Son, Jesus. Jesus, in turn, taught us to approach God as we would approach a

loving father. He gave us the words of a prayer that we call the Our Father, or the Lord's Prayer.

Golden Wedding Anniversary Mass Celebration Bishop Malesic invites all couples celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary during the calendar year 2016 to participate in a special Golden Jubilee Mass to be held at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at

3:00 p.m. The Jubilarians, their children, relatives or friends should contact the parish

office at 724-763-9141 to register couples for this celebration. Even though they may not be able to attend the Mass, they will receive a scroll

signed by the Bishop commemorating their anniversary.

KIDS SUMMER JUBILEE JOURNEY All Children of the partnered parishes are invited to

celebrate this Jubilee Year of Mercy Saturday-August 13 from 10 AM -12 PM

at St Lawrence Hall for Bible lesson, games, crafts and fun. Sunday- August 14 - 8:20 AM Lead the Rosary before Mass at

This position requires the applicant to have excellent computer skills, accounting skills, and can accept instruction from others. Pittsburgh Sports Package Raffle

The St. Lawrence Festival Committee is raffling off an autographed Antonio Brown Football, an autographed Clint Hurdle Baseball, and

an Engraved Piece of Authentic Civic Arena Roof. Tickets will be for sale for $2.00 a chance, and

are available for sale at the parish office. The winning ticket will be pulled on September 10, 2016 at the Festival. The Drugs Kill Dreams Foundation graciously donated

all of the above items towards the raffle. The proceeds will benefit the

St. Lawrence Festival.
