In the gospel reading today, we hear that we are to obey the commandments of God. Christ did not come to set aside the com- mandments, but to fulfil them. In his life- style he shows us how we are to act in order to witness to the power of Gods Word within us. Faith without good works is dead and we to show we are Gods people by our care of those in need. In this way, we place our trust in God. Sunday School is on holiday now until next term. Children of Primary School age are invited to stay with their parents, and sit near the front. Would you like to be a Sun- day School leader? Training available. Holidays are almost over! If however you are visiting London, family or friends wel- come to MPB; if you are going away, say hellofrom MPB - mention the Ordinariate. School starts back on Wednesday this week. Please pray for the staff and children as they begin a new term, especially all those who are new, including our new Head- master, Mr OKane. May St Joseph pray for us and always protect us. The Floor continues to grow. The Font is fully fitted now and looks splendid! Take a Look through the glass doors to see how they are getting on. Continue to pray for a success- ful and speedy installation. Mass today is in The Sidings which is right opposite the Church. We are grateful to Jack for his generous hospitality both today and for the next few Sundays. The Church continues to be closed until the work is complete. Whilst the Church is closed Sunday Mass will be across the street in The Sidings. It is right

opposed the main door to Most Precious Blood.

We are grateful to Jack for his hospitality.

Whilst MPB is closed, Fr Mark the parish priest at OL of La Salette invites us to join the Mass there. The Church is south of the side entrance to London Bridge Station, hidden by the Home Office Building!

7-9 September

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
