not using. The items may be dropped off in the Sacristy as you attend Mass on the weekend.

We need people to take the 50/50 Chances. Perhaps you might ask family or friends if they are

interested in taking a chance? The green tickets may be found at all the church entrances.

We need a few volunteers. Are you interested in helping? Please contact the rectory with your

name and in which way you would like to volunteer.

Wniebowzięcie NMP - dogmatem wiary W dniu 1 listopada 1950 roku Sługa Boży, papież Pius XII w Konstytucji Apostolskiej „MUNIFICENTISSIMUS DEUS” ogłosił dogmat Wniebowzięcia NMP. Najistotniejsza jego część brzmi: „Na chwałę Wszechmocnego Boga, który specjalną łaskawością obdarzył Dziewicę Maryję, ku czci Syna Jego, nieśmiertelnego Króla wieków oraz Zwycięzcy grzechu i śmierci, dla powiększe-nia chwały jego Błogosławionej Matki, ku niewy-powiedzianej radości całego Kościoła powagą Pana Naszego Jezusa Chrystusa, Świętych Aposto-łów Piotra i Pawła i Naszą, ogłaszamy, oświad-czamy i określamy jako dogmat prawdę przez Boga objawioną, że Niepokalana Bogarodzica zawsze Dziewica Maryja, po dopełnieniu życia ziemskiego z ciałem i duszą została wzięta do nie-ba...” . Oznacza to, że Matka Jezusa bezpośrednio po zakończeniu swojego ziemskiego życia dostąpiła rado-ści oglądania Trójcy Świętej, do której zbliżyła się naj-bardziej ze wszystkich ludzi. Omawiany dogmat nie mówi nic na temat śmierci Maryi, pozostawiając ten problem teologom do rozważań. Są zresztą tylko dwie możliwości: jeśli Maryja zmarła to chwała wniebo-wzięcia poprzedzona była zmartwychwstaniem i wszystkie te wydarzenia musiały nastąpić w krótkich odstępach czasu. Jeśli natomiast nie umarła, to wniebo-wzięcie zostało dokonane w momencie zakończenia jej doczesnego życia, wówczas jednak nie można mówić o śmierci, ale jedynie o zaśnięciu. Ostatecznie nawet w przypadku śmierci ciało Maryi nie mogłoby ulec roz-kładowi i to już wyróżnia tę śmierć od zgonu wszyst-kich ludzi, dlatego taką śmierć można nazwać „zaśnięciem”.
