Your team for the day

Page 4: The Paraplanner Conference brochure

We are thrilled to be lead sponsors of this year’s Paraplanner Conference and look forward to sharing the next couple of days with you.

We’ve been supporting paraplanners in their role for nearly 15 years with our industry renowned system, Adviser Office, and now also with XPLAN, our multi-channel financial planning solution. In that time, we’ve seen a remarkable shift in the way advice is provided and in the supporting role of the paraplanner. Technology has been a key driver, leading both client expectations and the capability of advice firms to deliver great service.

Someone who has witnessed and continuously engaged with paraplanners during this evolution is Colin Sloss, our Senior Business Development Manager.

Colin will be presenting ‘technology trends in the paraplanning process’ on day two of the conference, where he’ll walk through the latest tech advancements available to paraplanners, and take a look at what the future looks like.

We hope that everyone gets the most out of the event, not only from the excellent range of expert speakers, but also from the opportunity to network and share experiences with the rest of the paraplanning community. We certainly look forward to meeting you all and continuing to learn from your ongoing successes and challenges.

You’ll need to meet the entry requirements, but CFPTM certification, the only globally recognised mark of excellence in Financial Planning, should be your goal. To get there, you’ll need to achieve the Diploma in Financial Planning. It’s much more than a degree level qualification. Yes it is challenging, however it shows you a highly effective way of doing business.

Having the qualification and meeting the requirements below mean you can use the CFP marks, which will set you apart as one of the leading Financial Planners in the UK and globally. More than 160,000 professionals worldwide hold the CFPTM mark.
