The parables of the seedLEARNING AT THE FEET OF THE M ASTER

Abraham was said to have a perfection of love in Chassidic teaching, his tent was open to all strangersand travellers. To discover a truth is to announce it to the world. The principle is also exemplified in thelife of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who command us to go in to all the world to teach all a sundry the

good news of the Gospel.

However, experience has shown the truth of the parable of the master itself.

Giving the same seed, the same word given out freely, result in different level of response.

Attitudes to the word, to knowledge to Ideals differ considerably among the people of the world. The

different levels of response are a pointer to the eventual quality of life of the recipients.

The First SeedSome fell by the way side, and it was trodden down and the fowls of the air devoured it. The masterexplains that these are categories of people that will hear the gospel and immediately reject it. They areoffered a tract they immediately offer a resistance and fail to even read what they are being told. Theirattitude to new information is to be indifferent to it. They demonstrate a close mindset and eventuallyyield zero output, then cometh the devil and take away the word out of their hearts, lest they should

believe and be saved.

The second seedAnd some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away because it lacked moisture.They hear and receive the word with Joy but they have no root. The master is warning against beingsuperficial in this case. A building is as strong as Its foundation. Skyscrapers must have very deepfoundation to withstand the storm of Life. Temptation will surely come but without a deep meditationand depth in the word of God the best of Human piety will succumb to diverse craft of the enemies of

Human soul.

The Third seedAnd some fell among the thorns and the thorns sprang up with it and chocked it. There are people thatare fervent for spiritual goals, who are initially focused to gain that dazzling riches of the HeavenlyKingdom. But this fleeting present world with its allurement of cares and pleasures distract them andthey could not bring out any fruit. The foolishness of chosen this present world at the expense of theeternal is the transient nature of life under the sun. One generation will soon replace the next and what

a sad Investment.

The Fourth seedAnd other fell on the good ground and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundreds fold . They receive the

word with Joy with an honest and good ground; they keep it and bare fruits with patience. Thereattitude was positive, they carefully choose their physical ,social and psychological environment. Theyfocus on the Real Goal. They are the ultimate champions in the true path of Life

Conclusion

Life is unequal in the distribution of wealth and resources. Most of the time the key to progress lies withthe individuals effort to grasp and hold on to the world of life. The Master said It is the Narrow way thatlead to Life and few be that find it, It is true of the Pyramidal hierarchy of life, It is unfortunately true ofthe Road to the kingdom.
