Ono United Methodist Church Altar Ministry the New Altar Ministry has these specific goals.

1. To glorify God. 2. To connect and enhance the overall worship experience with visual

consistency. 3. To compliment powerful traditions with fresh imagination and

beautiful altar designs to remind us of God’s creation by using the beauty of flowers, greenery, rocks and an assortment of other natural and creative materials.

How will we do this? By asking God for guidance, wisdom and discernment. By allowing scripture and the words in which the sermon or season is focused upon guide us. Listening to the music that will be sung during worship. We will trust God as we design!

If you are interested in joining or learning more about our Ono Altar Ministry (even if you think you don’t have artistic talent) Join us on Feb. 19th for our first ministry meeting. As you will discover, there are many aspects of this ministry!
