Lisi Recreational Area Development
The total area of Lisi site is approximately 400 ha (including the lake) and contains one of Tbilisi’s famous thermal springs. Lisi Lake is only a ten minutes drive from the center of Tbilisi. It started to operate in early 1930’s and was acknowledged as one of the city’s most popular and best developed leisure areas during the Soviet era. The lake and its surrounds, with its two underground water springs, offers the cleanest environment around Tbilisi and were well known for the beaches, sports facilities, children’s playgrounds, restaurants and other leisure amenities. The fauna at Lisi Lake and the adjacent territories is one of the most interesting and diverse in Tbilisi. The territory serves as a shelter to many types of birds during their nesting period, as well as during the migration and winter time. Small birds such as sparrow, in addition to such animals as fox and rabbits together with unique butterflies all inhabit Lisi Lake and the surrounding territory. Some of these animals and birds are listed in the Georgian Red List (2003) and in the International Red Book (2004). Lisi Lake is also considered as one of the “Bird watching Sites” of Georgia. Due to the Lisi Lake and the surrounding area range from 615 to 730 meters above sea level (Tbilisi ranges from 380 to 600 meters above the sea level), the temperature is 3-4 degree cooler than in average in Tbilisi during the summer period, which makes this place attractive for leisure. Lisi Lake Development has initiated the project of Lisi recreational area development which consists of sports facilities (walking and bicycle trails, soccer field, tennis courts, sand volleyball), as well as other leisure facilities (recreational zones, beach, thermal bath, open cafes, boating and fishing amenities). The first stage is to be initiated in 2012 and be completed in 2013.

The Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy in Tbilisi is a private high school, enrolling 220 students, grades 9 through 12. The mission of the school is to help bring Georgia into the 21st century by preparing its children to compete on a global scale, both locally and in schools abroad.
JSC Lisi Lake Development has engaged in a joint venture with American Academy (a very prominent high school in Georgia) which intends to build new facilities and a campus on the land owned by the company. The company contributed 1.5 hectares of land with the construction started in April 2011 and to be completed in 2012. The building process consists of two subdivisions: the first part of the project consists of classes and labs, a library, Art studio that is for art/music/religion, PC – room, cafeteria, student lounges and a short termed multifunctional hall that will be for sport and assembly. Beginning of the 20th century
The Famous Mukhranbatoni Palace in Mukhrani (1875-1887) is a
proof for his taste, wealth and his style of life. For many years the
Palace served the gathering place for many prominent Georgian
political and cultural bright minds.
Destroyed during the civil war in the early 90’s a
complete restoration of the castle and domain were
initiated in 2003.
Restoration
The vineyards of the Chateau
are located on the best
selected plots of this exquisite
domain and are just adjacent
to the winery. During the
harvest, the lead-time from
grape picking to reception and
crushing at the winery lays
within 7 to12 minutes. Here
wine has been cultivated for
centuries. Archeological
excavations in this region have
found traces of wine-making as
far back as the Stone Age.

The image of Dionysus in the vicinity of Mukhrani Estates
Winemaking is an ancient tradition in the Mukhrani area. Important
remnants of the antique city of Dzalisi (II BC IV AD), in the vicinity of the
Mukhrani estate, indicate that early men mastered and highly
developed the art of winemaking.
The reconstruction of the château is one of the main projects of the
company, which apart from aesthetic pleasure, will enable the
company to create a tourism center, receive guests with Georgian
traditional hospitality and offer exquisite wines.
Château Mukhrani is the authentic, historical leader, in
the Georgian wine industry. Since the very beginning, starting with
its founder the Prince of Mukhrani, it has always been the leading
brand, combining local traditions and contemporary technologies to
revolutionize the quality of Georgian wines.
