FJ19143 Mystery 13 - A Purrrfect Escape 1000pc £13 R19698 My Haven 3 – The Pottery Shed 1000pc £13 This is the third in a series of puzzles depicting havens, sanctuaries and retreats. The owner of this shed appears to be a skilled Potter, if the wonderful vase on the pottery wheel is anything to go by. We wonder how many of the colourful pots and vases have been made by our elusive Potter? The bright striped vases seem to be a recurring theme, as do the owl flowerpots and “green Man” wall plaques. But not everything is made by the shed’s owner, as the colourful art deco vase on the Welsh dresser is by Clarice Cliff! We think our skilled Potter has just stepped away for a moment or two, perhaps to make a cup of tea in the pretty thatched cottage we can see through the open window. What a great place to live! Supplied with an in-box leaflet which includes an extra picture of the puzzle for reference. Jig’s CornerHi all – it’s been a nice mild start to the year for me in Stockport, I hope yours hasn’t been too bad.
I for one love trying WASGIJ puzzles, it’s sort of like trying to do a puzzle without looking at the box, but not quite as difficult as at least you get an idea of colours and characters. I do wish manufacturers would spread new releases throughout the year instead of bombarding us with them all at once, I’ll just have to pile them up while they’re available and get to them one at a time over the next few months!
Mark & Juliet have asked me to say that if you want to keep your newsletters in one piece, you can send your orders and competition entries in on a separate piece of paper, just include the puzzle number, description and price, but don’t forget the postage part of the order !
