APPLICANT

Sends application to regional office of the Directorate of Fisheries

REGIONAL OFFICE OF THE DIRECTORATE OF FISHERIES

•Registers application

•Receives comments after a hearing

•Sends the application to the County Governor, County Veterinary and the Coast Directorate

•Decision according to the Act relating to breeding of fish, shellfish etc.

MUNICIPALITY

•Registers and makes the application public with a 4 week deadline to make comments

•Sends the application with comments from the hearing and the municipality's own evaluation to the Directorate of Fisheries.

COUNTY GOVERNOR

•Decision according to the Pollution Control Act

•Comments on environmental, game and fish issues and gives a general evaluation

COAST DIRECTORATE

Decision according to Acts related to harbours and fairways

Licence/rejection

FOOD SAFETY AUTHORITY

Decision according to Food Act and the Act concerning the welfare of animals
