About usOur mission is to enrich the community through music and performing arts while fostering an environment in which members can express their creativity and grow as artists. We are so excited to be performing this show for you! This show represents the cumulative effort and passion of our entire group - every single person on stage owns part of this show, and that’s in addition to the singing and dancing.
If you would like the Northland Chorale to perform at your next event, just ask! We also offer smaller groups to better suit your performance space as needed.
Oh, and save the dates for our next show: “Andrew Lloyd Webber & Friends” - December 14, 15 & 16, 2012!
Join usIf you like to sing and dance, if you've been in church choirs for as long as you can remember and are looking for something different, or if you want to feel the excitement of being on stage and performing in front of a live audience, we encourage you to audition for the Northland Chorale!
We will hold auditions for all parts early September 2012. For more info, check our website at www.northlandchorale.org or contact us [email protected].

The Beatles may have changed the face of society as we know it, changed the world some would claim, but one thing is for sure - they knew how to write a good pop song.
Little did the Fab Four realize at the time, but their instantly memorable, melody-driven hits set the precedent for modern pop music. And while historians and sociologists may argue about the Beatles’ effect on society, few would argue about their effect on the music scene.
One of the most important changes they incorporated was polyrhythm, many different sounds and rhythms at once, such as drums, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals, bass guitar and more. The use of polyrhythm made a more intricate web of sound for the listener, and that web made the music more interesting. This technique influenced several of the bands we’ll perform for you today. So now, we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
