This emblem will be seen by many on the vests of dedicated Chrisans who believe in the Advenst message. It will invoke quesons as to “Who are you?” and “What do the three angels represent?” It will remind the world that God has lovingly given to mankind a day of fellowship and rest, and help bring out the cry…”Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the ever- lasng gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth --- to every naon, tribe, tongue, and people - -- saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.” Revelaon 14: 6, 7 Busy and Hectic Are we really awake and aware of the times we are living in ? Or going about our lives in a stupor? There is a lot of discussion of how “we are living in the times of the end” and all the dire events that will be happening all around this planet we live on. The Bible is opened, the relevant passages are read, expounded upon and prayers are made that urge the soon return of the Savior so that the saints can go “home” to the peaceful life that has been promised. Yet there seems to be a lack of urgency in our lives to proclaim the “Good News” of the gospel which is the salvation for all who would choose. We see the chaos all around us in broken lives and hurting people as a result of catastrophic weather, governmental corruption, religious persecutions, ethnic genocide, and just seemingly sense- less violence toward others. The news is full of these stories to the point of overload and has accomplished the result of numbing us to reality. We have a new normal to live within which changes slowly and always downward. Lives are hectic in many ways from just surviving for most to enjoying the fruits of their labor for some and this is true around the world. It is true for me. It is true for you. It is true for them. It seems as if there is no time left to get involved in anything that would benefit or help another. There are a few intrepid souls that do something at the sacrifice of their personal lives. They are called missionaries or evangelists and are the unsung heroes of this battle between good and evil that embroils this planet called Earth. Most of us are not called by God to do this work and He knows our lack of ability (faith?) to be useful in this endeavor. There is always a “however” and here it comes - HOWEVER, we can support these individuals by our gifts of time and effort on their behalf by making others aware of the needs, finances, and always prayers. Not just occasionally, but making a commit- ment for an ongoing and ever present support of some kind to these people (men, women, and children) so they know and experience the power of all God’s people united in proclaiming the “Good News” of the gospel of Christ as told in Revelation 14:6-13 by the three angels. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

    2 Cor. 4:6 NKJV

    What’s in an emblem?

This emblem will be seen by many on the vests of dedicated Christians who believe in the Adventist message. It will invoke questions as to “Who are you?” and “What do the three angels represent?” It will remind the world that God has lovingly given to mankind a day of fellowship and rest, and help bring out the cry…”Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the ever-lasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth --- to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people --- saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

    Revelation 14: 6, 7

    Busy and Hectic

Are we really awake and aware of the times we are living in ? Or going about our lives in a stupor? There is a lot of discussion of how “we are living in the times of the end” and all the dire events that will be happening all around this planet we live on. The Bible is opened, the relevant passages are read, expounded upon and prayers are made that urge the soon return of the Savior so that the saints can go “home” to the peaceful life that has been promised. Yet there seems to be a lack of urgency in our lives to proclaim the “Good News” of the gospel which is the salvation for all who would choose. We see the chaos all around us in broken lives and hurting people as a result of catastrophic weather, governmental corruption, religious persecutions, ethnic genocide, and just seemingly sense-less violence toward others. The news is full of these stories to the

point of overload and has accomplished the result of numbing us to reality.

  • Biker Sermon on the Mount

(Adapted from The Cowboy Sermon on the Mount, author unknown )

The “Good for Nothings” were well known to ride hard and make everything their own.

They’d get drunk, curse and spit; managed to rile things up a bit.

They’d spend all day out on the road then head for the bar to get out of the cold.

But when they made it into a town all good sense would soon be drowned.

They saw themselves as a rare breed, never did see the need

for those who went to any church service, all those Christians just made them nervous,

the way they shook their heads and such, looked down their noses and stared so much.

You well know that bikers, as a rule, will bow their heads for no such fool

when someone’s quoting the Good News, and pushing all those religious views.

But one day out there on the road all of that began to unfold

when a Harley riding Pastor cruised on in, the gang just sat and glared at him.

Approaching the bikers with a silent prayer all those bikers began to swear.

Those hard core bros were amazed, this bible thumper was not even phased.

He laughed out loud at their jokes just like he was one of their folks.

They even asked him to ride along if he didn’t think it was wrong.

When the partying commenced, that Pastor just sat on his bike and watched.

Finally he closed his eyes, bowed his head, but no one could hear just what he said,

He just looked up with a grin and continued to take it all in.

In the morning the Pastor was set to go, but one ol’ biker just had to know

the reason why he rode along, watching all they did wrong.

That Pastor sat there on his bike, opened his Bible and introduced him to Jesus Christ.

God sent his son to not cast blame, but to love all of the people just the same,

His life was changed the ol’ biker has announced,

Thanks to the Savior’s Sermon on the Mount.
