Full thickness holes None 2 peri-optic (aid in alignment & facilitate visco removal)
Same as V4b with addition of central optic port eliminating need for PI

V4b Design
Exactly the same design as the V4 Also has Penetrating peri-optic holes Also has Extended Toric alignment markings Lens stored in BSS (different storage medium)
V4b: New Penetrating Holes
Spherical Lens
Toric Lens
Located on either side of OZ, these holes will assist in viscoelastic removal. These holes are
present on all models
ICL Toric V4b: New Alignment Marks
Available on Myopic and Hyperopc versions
New alignment marks will assist in proper positioning of the Toric ICL during and after
surgery

•The V4c is the same design as the V4b with the addition of a central port
•The KS- Aquaport has been added in the central topic and is the same size as the peri-optic ports (360 microns)
•V4c model available for the myopic spheric and myopic toric lens versions

Results with the Visian ICL with CentraFLOW•Erik Mertens, MD (BE)
▫130 eyes of 68 patients▫Mean age 31.66 years ± 7.4 years▫Mean Pre-op SEQ = -6.15D ± 2.72D▫Mean Pre-op Cyl = -1.11D ± 1.24D▫No PIs performed
•Erik Mertens, MD (BE)▫At 6 months Post op UCVA = 1.10 ±0.14▫Mean BCVA = 1.11 ±0.14▫Efficacy index = 1.05▫Safety index = 1.06▫Mean SEQ decreased from -6.15 ± 2.72 to
-0.01 ±0.06 D ▫96.2% of eyes were within ±0.50 D of
attempted correction and 100% were within ±1.00 D

•Erik Mertens, MD (BE)▫IOP was maintained and stable throughout
follow-up. ▫Mean postop ICL-to-lens distance (vault) was
560 μm (range, 400–800)▫No eye experienced pupillary block or
elevated IOP▫No eye required peripheral iridotomy or
explantation.

Printing an implantaion orientation diagram (IOD)
Once a calculation has been done and a lens is tagged (Toric) the IOD can be generated. Go back to main screen, find your eye using the search function and click on the IOD icon.
What Happens after a surgeon reserves a lens?•An email will be sent automatically to the
person who made the calculation and the distributor.
•The distributor will then need to process the order.
