Industrial Wastewater

The treatment of industrial wastewater has always been a problematicprocess, one that involves multiple steps which can often be labor andcapital intensive. These conventional processes often fail toconsistently meet new and more stringent discharge standards. In viewof the current global water scenario and the expected real valuation ofthe cost of water in the near future, industrial wastewater is fastbecoming a valuable alternate source of resource. DesalinationReverse Osmosis is at present a proven technology in worlddesalination scenario and contributing bulk quantum in globalconsumption for various applications. Today the impressivedemand for desalination has been a major thrust forimprovement and refinement of this technology. The majorproblem with RO desalination plants and their applicationlimitation is their susceptibility to fouling and scaling, theimplications of which are usually irreversible membrane

damage, reduced flux rates, & increased capital andoperating costs. Therefore selection of a proper membraneconfiguration is of paramount importance.To overcome these problems which plagued the ReverseOsmosis desalination technology we have developed aState-of the-art Membrane Module after considerableresearch and trials. The main feature of such membraneconfiguration is the steady continuous velocity over all

sections of the membrane surface and the big channelsbetween the membrane and the Disc surface whichmeans an open-channel-operation.To date, we have over 8,000 global installations.

Sewage Wastewater TreatmentThrough acquisition of Reva Enviro, we havespecially designed processes (aerobic treatments -aerators, diffusers, bio-filters, trickling filters,activated sludge process / anaerobic digesters SMAG, CSTR, UASB technologies) for removingcontaminants from wastewater and household

sewage, both runoff (effluents) and domestic. Itincludes physical, chemical, and biologicalprocesses.

Our objective is to produce an environmentally-safefluid waste stream (or treated effluent) and a solidwaste (or treated sludge) suitable for disposal orreuse (usually as farm fertilizer). Tertiary treatmentinclude advanced technology (modular membrane

system) to re-cycle sewage effluent into drinkingwater.
