INTRODUCTION:

It is an undisputed fact that, in the present day, the importance of language is

increasing day by day. In the lack technological atmosphere prevailed earlier,

language was considered as a part of their study but now the world began to

understand the importance of language. The world today faces many problems

which is to be handled with a sympathetic mind structure. To build such a mind

structure, study of language plays a vital role and to improve the standards of

mankind. Since, our country holds unity in diversity it is necessary that we should

learn Hindi language which is used by majority of the people in India. To

understand and mingle with the people from all parts of country, we need one

language communication Hence, Hindi plays vital role as our National Language.

The neighboring states are providing options for learning Hindi as a part of their

Curriculum in Schools but this factor is found to be lacking in Tamil Nadu. Hindi

has become inevitable, very essential to share the knowledge among people of

other states. In this context, we should learn Hindi along with our regional

language so that can take part in developing our nation.
