The Swiss Implant Rootform system fordental implants was developed by a dentistwith over twenty-five years of experiencein implant dentistry. The system was bornfrom the needs of general dentistry to treatdifferent restorative situations withbeneficial outcomes. The recognizableneeds are patient, staff, and doctorsatisfaction. General dentistry is primarilyconcerned with restoration. In the case ofmissing teeth, traditional dentistry hasoffered replacement by asking adjacentteeth to share the load and consequentstress. As a mature science, implantdentistry now offers a true reconstrucivealternative without additional burden beingplaced upon adjoining teeth.

The Swiss RootForm system offersleading edge manufacturing, packaging,delivery methods and aids. This systemhas superior solutions for hard and softtissues from a design standpoint. Minimumtooling and intrumentation is required.This compact system elegantly performseverything a general dentist needs tobecome an active participant with theirchosen surgical partner.

The implant bodies include two designsfor different surgical situations. TheSpiraltite thread is curved and spiraleddown the body, much the way bone actuallygrows, eliminating stress areas caused bytraditional sharp thread. The BoneLockimplant utilizes the curved left handedthread, but adds a small right handedthread outside the body. This self tappingdevice offers immediate engagementwithout a complicated tapping procedure,yet is small enough that destructive stressrisors are avoided.

These curves closely emulate theproportional spirals ubiquitous in nature.Each shape reveals its mathematicalbeauty in the measurements described inthe Golden Triangle of Pythagorus witheach segment related by the smaller to thelarger and the larger to the whole in theratio of 1.618.

All implants are HA coated and supported by the historically provenagreement that a bone bond is formed more quickly and completely.The Bonelock implant also offers an alternative TPS coating.

Where locking threads arenot needed or desired, the

Spiraltite design maximizesusable surface area andallows increased seating

tightness by releasinghydraulic pressure

through the helical groovesallowing bone growth in a

natural helical form.

The Bonelock implant isthe first hybrid implant,combining the ease andusable surface area of theleft hand spiral groove withthe self-tapping external righthand thread. Displaced boneis moved directly into into thiscounter groove.

ROOTFORM FLAT TOP ABUTMENTS

Designed primarily for bar connector over-dentures, the Flat Top implantsaccomodate implants connected togethor. There is a polished periodontalcollar of two millimeters to allow for supra alveolar placement. The hourglass abutments allow the periodontal ligament to fit more tightly andcomfortably, effectively reducing foreign body invasion.

ON TISSUE ABUTMENTS

The Hex Top implants offer anti-rotation comparable with the industryleader. These are suitable for single or multiple restorations. Theabutments have tissue collars that are anatomically shaped for anteriorand posterior tissue contours. There are twelve points of rotation on theangled abutments for more alternative positioning. For the need tofabricate custom abutments and connector, pattern pieces are availablefor all implants.

SPIRALTITE IN FLAT TOP& HEX TOP IMPLANTS

The Spiraltite Flat Top and Hex Top implants and theBonelock Flat Top implants are delivered by thepackaging stopper adapted to the cover screw. Packagecolor coding is consistent throughout for implant diameterand connector types. Red and gray denote flat tops,while blue and green designate the hex tops.

BONELOCK IN FLAT TOP& HEX TOP IMPLANTS

The Bonelock Hex Top implants are packaged with animmediate transfer assembly. This assembly acts as theinsertion tool and can be connected to a hand wrenchor latch socket driver. These are color coordinated fordiameter, green for 3.3 mm and blue for 4.0 mm. Thecover screw is housed beneath the stopper label.
