Top Marques Monaco is the most electrifying car show to be staged anywhere in the world, its USP being that supercar lovers and potential buyers get to test rare and exotic vehicles on the streets of Monaco.
Under the High Patronage of H.S.H Prince Albert II of Monaco, Top Marques has become an unmissable rendez-vous for everyone interested in supercars and the luxury lifestyle associated with exceptional luxury vehicles.
More than 40,000 visited the event’s 15th anniversary edition in April, confirming its position as the third biggest event for the public held annually in Monaco.
Top Marques has come a long way in its short history. Billed ‘the most exclusive car show in the world’ by the New York Times, the event is now chosen by a progressive number of manufacturers over other more established car shows as the place to launch world premieres.

From its onset, the concept behind Top Marques was to create an event which went beyond traditional static automobile shows, where visitors could trial vehicles that caught their eye.
Test drives remain the focal point of Top Marques, with supercar fans lining the streets to watch and film the vehicles, footage of which is then transmitted around the world to an international audience of more than 50 million.
Top Marques – with its slogan ‘See it, Drive it, Buy it’ – is primarily a supercar show but the Watch Pavilion was added in 2008, honouring the natural and historical association between cars and time-keeping in the ultra-luxurious setting of Monaco. Bespoke jewellery, VIP helicopters and superboats followed – creating a luxury lifestyle show in the very heart of Monaco, the undisputed international capital of luxury.

Following a hugely successful 15th anniversary edition, Top Marques Monaco has changed hands and is now under the management of Monaco’s premier events company, Monaco Check-In.
Founded in 2006, Monaco Check-In is a company specialised in the design and organisation of large-scale business conventions and governmental forums, on both a national and international scale. The purchase of the iconic brand by Monaco Check-In is a significant step forward for Top Marques.
To mark this new chapter, the 2019 event will be held from April 11th to 14th in the Espace Fontvieille. Built in 1986 in the western district of Monaco, Espace Fontvieille offers a capacity of more than 8,500 m2 with multiple access points and services geared towards international exhibitions of standing. Of particular note are the 11 car parks located in the vicinity, with more than 1500 available parking spaces.
The venue hosts a large number of key events each year including exhibitions, conferences and shows organised by an impressive line-up of luxury brands.

Top Marques’ USP has always been its ingenious use of the streets in Monaco for its customised test drives. It is this unparalleled opportunity offered to VIP guests to test drive limited edition, high performance supercars on stretches of road in Monaco that make the show so attractive to high caliber visitors.
Test drives will still be very much a part of the 16th Edition of Top Marques, but due to lengthy renovation projects taking place in the centre of Monaco for the foreseeable future, the decision has been made to relocate the circuit. Details of the new planned route will be revealed in the coming weeks.
The adrenaline-fuelled experience offer manufacturers the perfect way to showcase their vehicles. Time and time again the test drives have proved to be hugely effective in making the transition from trial to sale for potential buyers.

Top Marques Monaco is being chosen by more and more supercar manufacturers over other more established car shows as the place to launch world premieres.
Highlights of last edition’s launches included the new Tushek TS 900 H, a hybrid hypercar from Slovenia weighing just 1400 kg with a 950 horsepower. A spokesman from the company, founded by Slovenian racing driver Aljosa Tushek, said «we are extremely proud to have revealed our brand-new supercar to the world for the first time at the 15th anniversary of Top Marques in Monaco.”
Another world premiere which received rave reviews was the FPLus Corsa by Pogea Racing. The beautiful interpretation of a Ferrari 488, with Pista-rivaling 820 h, was undoubtedly one of the stars of the show.
Whilst Danish supercar manufacturers Zenvo launched its brand-new TSR-S at the Geneva Motor Show, it kept the vehicle under wraps so that it was seen in motion for the first time at Top Marques. “Changing the ubiquitous ‘booth’ culture that surrounds the industry, Top Marques combines the values that defines Zenvo: showcasing unrivalled designed with an engaging experience,” a spokesman for Zenvo said.

Top Marques Monaco enjoys a high concentration of high net worth individuals which is in part due to its home in the prestigious Principality of Monaco, and in part due to the caliber and exclusivity of the products exhibited at the show.
The show is also traditionally held at the same time as Monaco’s Rolex Masters Tennis Tournament, and many high net worth individuals attend both events.
