• Students’ active participant in evaluating their own grammatical errors that are available made or prepared by the teacher.
Steps of The Mistake Buster Technique
1. Choosing a mistake category
• Focus on the lesson being taught
2. Preparing the Mistake
• The teacher provides some grammatical mistakes to be found and corrected by the students.
Teaching procedure
• Pre-teaching
- Greet the students
- Tell the purpose and basic competencies
- Ask about some point of grammatical form
- Show the text with grammatical form
- Explain the form and use
- Give example
• Whilst Teaching
- Exploration
- Elaboration
- Confirmation
• Post – Teaching
