The Milton Club is a contemporary members club located in the heart of the city of Manchester

Offering exceptional service and ambience within its elegantly designed amber and charcoal grey interior (created by top designer Bernard Carroll) the Milton embodies the style and warmth that is the signature of this great city.

Enjoy a classic drinks menu (including rare whiskies and cognacs) juxtaposed with modern cocktails and, of course, a superb wine list. For those who appreciate a chilled glass of the finest Champagnes the Milton Club has its very own Champagne bar.

Accessed via the private entrance of the 19th century Milton Hall building on Deansgate, ‘The Milton’ is just minutes from the thriving Spinningfields business district, Media City and within walking distance of the city’s key upmarket restaurants, bars, nightclubs, luxury shops and top hotels.

The Milton Club is located via the entrance of the historical Milton Hall building at 244 Deansgate. This beautiful structure was originally designed as a place of worship – the Congregational Church House.

The building dates back to 1900 and is dedicated to its patron Enriqueta Rylands – the wife of the famous Manchester ‘son’ and entrepreneur John Rylands. Enriqueta and John Rylands were committed liberals and admirers of the poet and philosopher John Milton, who penned the famous poem - Paradise Lost. Milton’s statue stands in the John Rylands Library on Deansgate and an image of his face can be seen on the foyer ceiling of Milton Hall itself.

The building itself has great heritage and the original detail is really exceptional. Creatively, we had a wonderful canvas as the space is so interesting too.
