He, Corrie, Brendle, and Charloe are a blessing to First Bapst and to the larger kingdom of God. First Bapst is a beer church because Brent is on our staff. God has used Brent and Corrie to touch many lives, offer great counsel, and encourage the body. I missed seeing this coming and didn’t get a recepon organized for them. We will do that soon. UPPER LEVEL basketball season 6 is now in the books. God continues to bless and grow this ministry which means we are add-ing at least (6 more teams) one more hour in 2019. We’re thankful for the players, families, caregivers, and our volunteers!

Comfort in Christ Provides support to all women who have suffered the loss of a loved one. This woman-to-woman group offers support during the journey from grief to healing, prayer and encour-agement, and a safe and understanding place to share one’s thoughts, feelings and experiences. Books, handouts, devo-tionals, and other resources with a spiritual emphasis are provided to help each person regarding the grief process. This group meets the first Thursday of the month at 2 pm in the home of the leader, Rhonda Frederick. Please contact her at 501-538-3911, for more info.
