: This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones. I will make breath enter you and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord (v5,6)

: So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet-a vast army. (v10)

: Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the

Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.

- New temple and the river of life (43, 47, 48) => Rev 22:1… River of life flowing from the throne of God

o Chapter 43: The glory of God returned. Son of man describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins” (43:10).

o Chapter 47: Water coming from under the threshold of the temple toward the east:: The water was rising up that no one could cross: Swarms of living creatures will live there: There will be large number of fish and were the river flows,

every thing will live (47:3-9)

o Chapter 48: The city of God is equivalent to New Jerusalem (Rev21).

“and the name of the city from that time on will be: “THE LORD IS THERE” (48:35)

- God’s true love – who I was, how God raised me up, who God is. : I must accept and acknowledge God’s sovereignty over my life - Shepherd responsibilities : I must do shepherd jobs to bring God’s word to the children - God’s hope and Glory :There is hope because of the living and almighty God. : I have to seek God’s glory and know God is there.

Ezekiel’s Vision John’s RevelationA Temple within the City The New Jerusalem

Ezekiel is taken in this vision to a very high mountain (40:2)

John is carried in the Spirit to a great and high mountain (21:10)

A man uses a rod to measure the dimensions of the temple (40:5-ff)

An angel measures the city with a rod (21:15-17)

The entire temple area is a perfect square (42:15-20)

The entire city is a perfect cube (21:16)

The presence of the glory of the Lord enters the temple (43:3-4)

No need of sun or moon because the Lord illumines His city (22:5)
