ASU EXPERIENCE IN EVALUATION OF STUDY PROGRAMMES
• University is taking part in the internal and external evaluation of study programmes according to the official procedure since 1999.
• Each year some University programmes are evaluated externally.
• Some University professors are included in the international study programmes evaluation expert groups (evaluation of study programmes in other Lithuanian or other European institutions of higher education).

ASU EXPERIENCE IN INSTITUTIONAL EVALUATION
• ASU twice participated in the institutional evaluation: In 2008. Pilot project of institutional evaluation was
carried to test the developed institutional assessment methodology; In 2012. A formal institutional evaluation was carried out by the international expert team. All areas of University activities have been successfully evaluated and ASU was accredited for 6 years;
• ASU professors - experts are involved in the institutional evaluation of colleges in Lithuania.

UNIVERSITY STUDY QUALITY ASSUARANCE SAYSTEM
• More systematic development of it started in 2005 activelly involving academic community in the matters of the study quality.
• The current system is based on: - Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area; - Main provisions of European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence Model.
