Why I want Empire

• Empire is a very popular magazine and I feel that writing for them will be the best option rather than the other magazines. This is because they have the best type of writing and reporting format that will suit my film which will appeal to their target audience as they are the audience that my film appeals to. My film will appear in the review page amongst the other films and I believe that it will match the type of magazine it is which is funny and teenage.

• First of all the magazine isn’t expensive and at a fair price. I feel this is something to think about because for my film to be a success it needs to be promoted well and by using Empire it helps as the price for it is fair meaning my target audience will buy it. The magazine also has a history of good sales so choosing Empire to write will be great for my film.

Why I want Empire

• Another reason why I want to write for Empire is because it’s very entertaining. Writing for an entertaining magazine will be good for me because I think I will find it fun and interesting which will help me work o the best of my ability to producing a great review page.

• On writing and reporting styles seen on my film magazine review answers to questions about writing is also why I chose Empire because of its entertaining approach. Things like ‘never using sir madam’ isn’t what I use in every day life and starting of by writing in local newspapers, teen Mags’ are things that I can try. This tells me that writing for them isn’t hard and it will suit my type of writing. It will also be the style of writing my audience will be familiar with.

• So the writing style will be entertaining as the audience will laugh at what I include like the funny headings, quotes etc.

Why I want Empire

• Empire is a very marketable magazine and likely to sell to its audience. Not only is it the UK’s number 1 movie magazine but it is also the world’s best movie magazine. I believe that if I write for Empire I will understand how they use their reporting style to sell millions of copies every month. The thing I think makes Empire marketable is that they are very honest in their way to layout their pages and reporting style, this is why I want to write for them for my film because I feel I will be able to speak about my film the way Empire does.

• Last and least it is suitable to my audience. The audience that I will feel most comfortable writing for is Empires because I don’t think I will struggle although I feel I will have some problems. My film will also suit to Empires audience who are mostly teenagers (girls mainly), students, young adults and overall film fanatics.
