Trends and Views in Residential Real Estate 2016
Uncompromising personal service
and local philanthropy
are at the core of our philosophy...
where people come first,
where integrity is our guide post,
where expertise is our foundation,
and where passion
for our work builds trust.
One client at a time.
our mission
In 1976 when my mother founded Lois Schneider Realtor, she chose not to follow the trend of mergers and franchising and instead focused on developing a business with just one office and one mission: superb service. Since assuming leadership of the company when she passed away in 2012, I resolved to continue her commitment to service as our primary mission.
In 40 years, we have taken our mission as an independent brokerage to a global level in a way that differentiates LSR from chains and franchises. Our company enjoys exclusive membership with other selected premier brokerages in Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and Whos Who in Luxury Real Estate -- powerful networks of more than 130,000 real estate professionals. These affiliations provide our clients with exposure in over 70 countries with our listings translated on international websites in nine different languages.
Our award-winning marketing and design team showcases our clients properties to buyers locally, nationally and internationally. Were local real
estate experts with global connections best positioned to market your home. Thats the LSR difference.
First-time buyers or those searching for their dream home also benefit from LSRs deep knowledge of local communities. Our agents go beyond helping you find a house to purchase. They help smooth your transition, connect you with needed services, and make you feel welcome as new neighbors in town.
As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are proud of our commitment to local philanthropy, enriching programs and local projects that benefit many in our communities.
I want to thank our clients who have entrusted us with their real estate needs, many of whom have returned again and again, and our fabulous team of LSR sales associates and staff. To all, your loyalty and dedication are the measure of our success at Lois Schneider Realtor!
With gratitude,
Karen Schneider, President
Letter from the President
millenniAls And reAl estAteThe future course of real estate will be determined by the millennials, ages 17 to 34. Among all generational cohorts, they comprise the largest share of homebuyers, at 32 percent. They also have the largest share of first-time buyers, at 68 percent. Millennials are proving to be more financially savvy than previously anticipated. Most view home ownership as part of their American Dream, and if thats true, its a sure thing they will dominate the real estate market within the next decade. As some of
the older millennials enter parenthood, the burbs will be appealing as these young parents seek more space, top ranked public schools, and recreational and neighborhood environments. The good news is that the baby boomers have created a robust next generation that will keep the housing market going.
We are pleased to meet the real estate needs of the next generation! Contact us at 908.277.1398
or [email protected] for a complimentary market analysis. It will be our pleasure to serve you the
Lois Schneider Realtor way.

FORTY YEARS LATERThe way it is todayFrom music to technology, to medical advances, social media and communications, much has changed in 40 years. Smart phones, Facebook, Google, Yahoo and Netflix are part of our everyday language and lives. We communicate via text, Instagram and Twitter.
We anticipate the use of driverless cars, smart contact lenses that monitor glucose levels, and microscopic machines that travel inside our body to deliver medicines. With space travel potentially becoming more commonplace inter-planetary real estate could one day become a reality. Dare to dream!
Despite all that has changed, the concept of home is at the very core of who we are and how we live. Real estate still remains the bedrock of our family life and our society. And this, we believe, will not change.
