THE LOUVRE

This museum was actually built to be a fortress by the French

king Phillip II. then it later became a home until it

eventually became a museum near the 1800s. The pyramid as

we know it was completed in 1989. and because of this

pyramid attendance has nearly doubled ever since

PAINTINGS AND ARTS

The Louvre contains of the worlds largest collections of art objects and paintings. With nearly 380,000 pieces of art on display and about 35,000 works of art, it is very easy to say that this museum is very large.

WWW.LOUVRE.FR/ENThis assignment felt a bit rushed since I only had 1 day to do it but in the end I felt it gives a fair overview of the Louvre. I ended up learning many things I wouldn’t have known about the Louvre and I believe this

assignment was very useful concurring to my future knowledge, or when I actually go visit France and get a chance to see the spectacular sights available in this museum. Once I’m at this museum I’m going to want to explore every nook and cranny it has to offer, so I don’t miss anything. Overall I enjoyed this experience and will remember this

moment.
