Chapter two The mission starts A few minutes later he sets off to the haunted house. When he arrived there he knocked on the door and shouted “Is any one in there!’’ The door squeaked open with a loud EEEEK! He went into a private dark room full of dangerous science experiments. He sat down for a rest and accidentally sat on a bottle. It was signed LIQUID NITROGEN! It suddenly woke up an evil scientist that he did not recognise. James jumped and saw something behind the scientists back.

One damp and miserable morning, James the detective was staring out of the window and suddenly he heard a knock at the door.
“Who is it!” he shouted. It was the government.“I have a letter for you,” said the government. He
gave the letter to James.He opened it and found that he was going on a
mission to a haunted house to save six diamonds . He carried on reading……

James asked “What are you hiding behind your back?” The scientist giggled and picked up an experiment and put it on the floor...... Suddenly it spread sticky slime across the floor. James quickly dodged out of the way and noticed six diamonds under a table.
“The diamonds!” James said in a shocked way. James slid to the diamonds on his tummy as quick as lightning. James finds the liquid nitrogen and threw it at an experiment.
“Ahh!” Shouted the scientist.

James realized it was time to get home, so he called his friend the priest. The priest was there in seconds.
“What is it!” said the priest near the main door.
“Can you come and pick me up by number 129,quickly!” The priest ran to number 129 as quick as he could.
“Hurry up chap!” Shouted the priest.

James ran out of the scientists room. “I think the house is going to explode!” shouted
James,” We need to get out of here!" So the priest and James both ran out of the gloomy house together, not in single file, which was slightly strange.
“Lets get you home, James" said the priest.Suddenly the house exploded like a giant firework.James returned home safely. “Thanks mate” said James as he jumped into bed
without any dinner.
